Introducing the Sunflower Collection

Wash… and be Clean!
Are you struggling with dry, itchy skin or eczema?
Are you having trouble finding a commercial soap that you are comfortable using on yourself and your family? If the answer is yes, you’re in the right place. In fact, several years ago, I would have answered “yes” to these questions as well.
I was a student at Berea College in Kentucky, desperately trying to find a solution to my persistently itchy skin – and failing to find it again and again.
Then I remembered a childhood lesson on old-fashioned soap making, and I decided to try going back to the basics. I bought a book on how to make soap and got started. After three unsuccessful batches, my fourth attempt worked.
The first time I used it, I was hooked.
Through the next few years, I worked on creating the perfect bar of soap. I wanted a soap so moisturizing that it eliminated the need for lotion. It needed to last a long time – even when faced with the task of cleaning my four boys. And it needed to have lots and lots of bubbles.
As I experimented with different ingredients and recipes, each batch was a little closer to perfection. Finally, I found it, and Miss Jenny’s Signature Soap Base was born.
