Miss Jenny wanted a soap dish with one simple purpose:
Help good soap stay good.

So we created a dish with a raised clay lift in the center —
keeping your soap up and out of standing water,
allowing air to circulate,
and letting your soap fully DRY between uses.

A DRY dish gives your soap the dry life it never had.

And this spring, we’re celebrating it in Spring’s Green —
a fresh, hopeful glaze that feels like new grass, garden mornings, and clean beginnings.

🌿 How Our DRY Dishes Are Made

Each soap dish is:

• Hand-rolled from LOCAL raw and reclaimed clay
• Individually cut — no two are ever alike
• Gently shaped in a simple mold to cradle the soap

Wooden cutouts  — critters, flowers, words — are pressed into the soft clay.
Then the dishes dry slowly over several days.

Once dry, each one is:
• Trimmed
• Smoothed
• Signed and dated

Then comes the fire.

🔥 First firing (bisque) at 1800°
🎨 Hand-painted glaze details (if stamped)
💧 Dipped in clear glaze
🔥 Final glaze firing at 2200°

A few days later… we open the kiln to find glossy, strong, ready-for-life dishes — made to serve your soap faithfully.

🌿 Who Makes Them?

Miss Jenny’s DRY Dishes are made in Ms. Jenny’s Studio, where clay, family, and purpose all meet.

This journey began years ago when Moses was just five years old. Mom needed a better soap dish… and a little boy wanted to play in clay. A partnership was born — Muddy Moses & Mom.

Today, Moses is grown and runs his own pottery, throwing large forms and building his own creative path. But the story of those first soap dishes is still part of the foundation.

The DRY Dishes are now lovingly made in Ms. Jenny’s Studio, with help from Jenny’s daughters-in-love who wipe, paint, glaze, and package each piece by hand.

It remains a family business — overseen by Miss Jenny — built on simple clay, hard work, and grateful hearts.

And here we are. 💚
