Miss Jenny's Handmade Soap And Pottery

Introducing the Sunflower Collection

by | Oct 1, 2025 | Hillbilly Porcelain, Pottery, Soap Dish, Soap Dishes, Uncategorized

Love never fails—beauty and truth, pressed into clay.

Sunflowers always find the light. They turn their faces to the sun, stretching tall even when storms bend their stalks. That’s why the sunflower has become such a meaningful symbol in my pottery and soap work—it’s a reminder that God’s love never fails, and when we keep turning toward Him, we grow strong and radiant.Today, I’m thrilled to introduce you to my Sunflower Collection, a new series made with Georgia clay, faith, and a whole lot of heart.

Why Sunflowers?

The sunflower speaks of hope, joy, and resilience. Each bloom points upward, reminding us to lift our gaze from fear to faith. The words of 1 Corinthians 13:8—“Love never fails”—became the anchor verse for this collection.

That verse is hand-pressed into one of my newest pieces, the Love Never Fails Sunflower Soap Dish—a little testimony in clay, carrying the truth that God’s love is constant, no matter what storms we face.

What You’ll Find

  • Soap Dishes – pressed with scripture and sunflowers, paired with Miss Jenny’s soap.
  • Mindfulness Mugs – sunflower accents for TEA Time journaling and Mug Hugs.
  • Magnets & Trinkets – small pieces of “Hillbilly Porcelain” from local Georgia clay.

Made with Georgia Clay

Each piece is formed with our local “Hillbilly Porcelain,” then refined through a multi-step firing that strengthens both the form and the message.

What’s Next

This is just the beginning. In my next post, I’ll take you behind the scenes to show how the sunflower pieces are made—from raw clay to finished form—so you can see the care that goes into every detail.
